It was a unforgettable week as Miranda released her Platinum album.  We flew across the country for back to back TV appearances.  It was as exciting as it was exhausting.

At the Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas we played just after Lorde.  Just before that Wiz Khalifa gave Robin Thicke the award for Top R&B Song for Blurred Lines in this pic:

Next we flew to NYC where we had with an incredible backdrop to film songs for the Macy’s 4th of July Spectacular.  A pretty neat start!

Then it was down the street to 30 Rock where Jimmy Fallon reminded us the he’s the most gracious host on TV.  Always engaging the band and even shaking Al’s sick hand.chaos during the Fallon commercial break Jimmy Fallon, the nicest host ever, always shakes our hands

No time for sleep in this city, we got up painfully early to get to ABC Studios for Good Morning America.

The junket continues… we hurried out of GMA to rehearse and perform on The View a few hours later.
The View from here AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!

We barely made it to the airport in time to fly back to Nashville…our next stop was the CMT awards.  But we don’t look tired, we’re professionals.

Finally we rocked the packed house at LP Field for the CMA Fest (airs on August 5th on ABC)just before our CMA fest performance rockin CMA fest

When all was said and done Platinum debuted at #1.  Mission accomplished…go boss.  It was one hell of a ride and we took a much needed break when it was over!
